I have expensive products but my $11 tinted moisturizer looks so natural – an old-school trick works for more coverage
ONE beauty lover believes that budget makeup can disguise blemishes better than high-end brands.
She also shared her easy anti-aging tip for older skin.

After trying her share of pricier products, she was confident that she had found the best coverage on the makeup market.
“I have way more expensive foundations and moisturizers – Ilia tinted serum, Mac Studio Fix – but this is so easy, slightly buildable, and at least on my skin looks very natural,” she said.
Her favorite Neutrogena buy sells for $11.12 on Amazon and is described as being ideal for “minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.”
The vitamin-rich formula also claims to improve skin’s texture.

“It’s nice because I can build with that in one spot but just do a very light dusting elsewhere to even things if needed,” she added.
“The mineral veil sets things nicely.”

“For me, the stuff in the compact seems to not absorb as well,” she said.
Still not convinced that this buildable method is the best way to go?
She explained how she too was once a skeptic of the method – but would never go back now.
“I feel you, I always thought the ‘do foundation in just where you need it’ people were crazy,” she said.
“I know a few years ago my skin would have looked ridiculous doing this and now my more mature skin cooperates better!” she said.
