‘MS Dhoni’s Temples Would Be Built in Chennai’, Reckons Ex-CSK Star

New Delhi: MS Dhoni is one of the most followed stars of the ongoing Indian Premier League and the reason behind his following is his captaincy for the Chennai Super Kings franchise because under his captaincy the team won the most joint titles (5). Now as he left the captaincy there are talks that this will be his last season for CSK as a player considering his age factor and fitness.

Former CSK batter Ambati Rayudu who announced his retirement in IPL 2023 after winning the title opined that MSD is the god of cricket and he is sure that the Chennai people will built temples of Dhoni.

“He is the God of Chennai and I am sure, temples of MS Dhoni would be built in the years to come in Chennai,” Ambati Rayudu said on Star Sports.

“He is someone who brought India the joy of two World Cups and has brought Chennai joy with a lot of IPL and Champions League titles. He has just been that one guy who shows belief in his players, who has always done it for the team, for the country and for CSK.“He is a legend and someone everybody celebrates in the crowd. They might be thinking that this might be his last game in Chennai,” he added.

Rayudu also said that the management would be thinking that this is the last season of MS Dhoni for CSK.

Dhoni is arguabaly the best captain India have ever produced under his captaincy the team won all the ICC titles of that time.
