ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Happy Monday! Per Meteorologist Matt Mackie, we can expect temperatures in the low 70s with evening showers to follow a clear morning.

1. Albany water shut-off scheduled for Monday

The Albany Water Department is performing a scheduled water shut-off on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon. Sections of Hackett Boulevard, Matilda Street, Cuyler Avenue, Joanne Court, Academy Road, Marwill Street, Marinello Terrace, Kate Street, and Ten Eyck Avenue will be out of service during the scheduled time.

2. Crews respond to Gloversville structure fire

The Gloversville and Johnstown Fire Departments responded to a fire at 7 Van Wyck Street in Gloversville around 11:56 Sunday night. Gloversville Fire Chief Thomas Groff says no one was injured.

3. Parking restrictions and road closures for CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge

With the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge taking place Thursday at 6:25 p.m., the Albany Police Department has released parking restrictions and road closures ahead of the Capital District’s largest road race. Over 8,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate in the event.

4. Troy Police investigating a reported shooting

Troy Police responded to Fourth Street near Madison Street after receiving reports of a shooting. The police say that there were two victims struck by gunfire.

5. Siena softball going to first NCAA tournament regional

After capturing its first-ever conference championship, Siena Softball is two-stepping into the NCAA Tournament. The 2024 MAAC Champions are headed to the NCAA Austin Regional at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin, Texas where they will compete against #1 Texas, #23 Northwestern, and Saint Francis (PA) Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17.
