ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Mohawk man was indicted Thursday for sexual exploitation of two minors, and for possessing child sexual abuse materials. Andrew Edick, 37, faces 35 years to life in prison if convicted.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Edick, between August and October 2022, had two underage children partake in sexually explicit conduct to create child sexual abuse material. He is charged with committing these crimes while required to register as a sex offender.

Edick was indicted for transporting the child sexual abuse materials after he shared it on the internet, including possessing such material. On top of a potential sentence, Edick would also face a fine of up to $250,000 and a supervised release term of at least five years to life. He'd also be required to pay restitution to the victims and forfeit devices in the offenses.
