Range Servant News

0

Range Servant has been manufacturing solutions for golf clubs and driving ranges since 1986. From our late founder Jordan Knez developing Sweden’s first ever golf ball dispenser, to having a global distributor network, the Range Servant story continues to grow.

Driving ranges have also continued to grow and develop, with the emergence of new technologies enhancing the practice experience and increasing entertainment value. With a growing demand and increased ball output, Range Servant ball management solutions ensure that range owners keep ball dispensers replenished with clean golf balls through maximum efficiency and minimum labor.

Manufactured in-house at our workshop in Sweden, our product portfolio showcases some of the best automated and manual golf ball management solutions in the industry, and has been continuously developed and improved to move with the demands of modern driving ranges with varying ground conditions and ball inventory volumes. Range Servant sell ball management solutions and golf accessories to golf clubs and driving ranges of all scales, from traditional golf clubs with small practice ranges, to global golf-entertainment brands.

When you invest in our products, we work to identify needs at an operational level, accounting for footfall, ball volume, site layout, ground condition, and other important components to ensure sales, planning, installation and future maintenance is unrivaled. Our Service Agreements are another way to ensure products are maintained, increasing lifespan and preventing future downtime once the project is complete.

Our teams across the globe have had some notable recent successes, including the Tee Box installation at the notorious PGA Frisco TX, and automated ball management solutions installed at Topgolf Surrey.

Another Robotic Picker hits Sweden!

We had an exciting breakthrough in Sweden this year, introducing another robotic picker to the market at Skerike Golf Club, featured in Golfbranschen for its strong offering of course play and practice facilities. The club required extra picking capacity without using existing staff labor, and instead utilizing an automated solution that can pick up to 30,000 golf balls per day.

The answer was the Range Picker by Relox Robotics. Our partners at Relox Robotics have developed a unique and efficient robotic ball picker to work alongside existing picking, offering additional golf ball picking with automatic release function and set GPS picking parameters. The picker will collect golf balls all-day long, and is programmed to return to the drop zone when it’s full to release golf balls and head back to the outfield.

The Range Servant Concrete Ditch formulates the drop zone, which works in conjunction with the Washer, Hopper and Blower System; using compressed air and flexible hoses to feed clean balls from the remote washroom back to the golf Ball Dispenser ready for the customer.

The robotic picker has delivered far beyond our expectations in terms of reliability, picking capacity and quality. The combination of being able to empty balls into the ditch, for washing and intermediate storing suits us incredibly well and makes everything so much easier than our previous solution

Increasing in popularity worldwide, the robotic pickers are also installed at: Deer Valley Golf Club, Chi Chi the Golf Venue, The Hills Golf and Sports Club, Season Golf, Halmstad Golfarena, Österåkers Golf Club, and many more!

Tee Box popularity grows!

The Tee Box creates an upscale, streamlined experience for players visiting the driving range. The customer can go directly to the bay to start their practice session and the Tee Box will automatically dispense golf balls, replacing a centralized ball dispenser with an individual in-bay solution. Compatible with most booking, POS and tracking software, the Range Servant Tee Box can be customized with branding and logos to fit seamlessly into the range with a distinctive personal design. Storing up to 2,000 golf balls, customers investing in Tee Box technology typically purchase an accompanying Ball Transportation Cart, which can be positioned next to the Hopper and filled with clean golf balls. The cart has fitted wheels for easy maneuvring back to the bay to re-fill the Tee Box. This product has been designed for efficiency, with the range owner in mind.

Romanby Golf Club

Since the first UK Tee Box installation at Big Shots Northwick Park, demand has continued to increase. The latest venue making the switch in the UK is Romanby Golf and Country Club, with Your Golf Booking and Trackman integration, this project has delivered the ultimate practice experience for members and guests.

PGA Frisco, TX

A sanctuary of modern luxury and world-class golf, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the latest edition to the PGA collection. We delivered the branded Tee Box Gen 2, Soaker, Washer and a 5-gang Picker to support their high ball demand. The PGA puts trust in our robust and efficient solutions to manage their ball inventory, enhance the player experience and reduce manual labor for staff who can now focus more time on delivering world-class customer service.

Our long-standing relationship with Topgolf!

Range Servant has been delivering solutions to the popular Topgolf brand for a number of years, and more recently were involved in their exciting new project at Topgolf Surrey. Our Field Service Engineers installed a Range Servant Pre-Soaker, Washer, Blower System and 3 Ultima Ball Dispensers with low-level sensors. At a large-scale venue, it is important to have a robust replenishing solution in place, ensuring ball dispensers are always ready to dispense clean golf balls to their high volume of customers. Our Blower System means dispensers on both levels seamlessly refill and give range owners peace of mind and more autonomy over their time, leaving the manual work to our trusted ball management solutions.

We love events!

Listening, understanding and adapting is the catalyst to our product development, customer service and relationship building. Part of that process is being involved in the industry and meeting golf club and driving range owners, industry employees and fellow golf industry businesses.

This culture of education and inclusivity mean we host and attend a wide range of events throughout the year, from external trade exhibitions and events, to hosting our own golf tournaments and exclusive promotion days. Speaking to like-minded professionals sparks new ideas, and allows us to constantly develop our products and services to meet the demands of an evolving marketplace, whilst staying at the forefront of emerging golf technologies.
