3 Naxalites killed in encounter with police in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli

Three Naxalites, including two females, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district. The operation was based on intelligence indicating the presence of Perimili Dalam members planning subversive activities. C-60 commandos were deployed for the search, and upon encountering Naxalite fire, they retaliated, resulting in the casualties. Vasu, the Perimili Dalam commander, was among those killed. Weapons and Naxal literature were recovered. The operation is part of ongoing efforts against Naxal activities, especially during their Tactical Counter Offensive Campaign.
