On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets were visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 4 of their second round matchup. With mere seconds to go in the second quarter, and with a 61-49 lead, Murray stole a Timberwolves pass and attempted a Hail Mary shot from half court … which went in!
It was an absolutely bonkers moment, one which gave the Nuggets the 64-49 lead going into the half after an 8-0 run in the last 20 seconds of the quarter. But the best part? After the shot, Murray turned to TNT announcer Harlan for a wicked stare down in the midst of calling the half-court buzzer-beater.
Stone cold stuff right there.
