Victoria’s Secret model Joan Smalls shows off her curves in skimpy black lingerie
SUPERMODEL Joan Smalls proves she is a big deal as she poses in a black lingerie set.
The Victoria’s Secret star, 35, showed off her smalls in a shoot for La Perla.
Last week, Joan was at the Met Gala in New York.
She wore a black dress from Tom Ford’s final collection — after he sold his brand to Estee Lauder for £2.4billion.
Joan later joined models including Iris Law and Emily Ratajkowski at the ApresMet2 afterparty.
The star’s successful modelling career has seen her gain a legion of fans and her can-do attitude has inspired many to follow her into modelling.
Joan suffers from scoliosis, a condition which causes curvature of the spine.
She uses exercise to help her combat the pain and previously said she wouldn’t let it hold her back.
The Puerto Rican beauty has criticised the fashion industry for its poor levels of diversity in the past.
Penning an open letter to British Vogue, she wrote: “I love the fashion industry.
“I love the creativity it provides me and the outlet that it is for me. But I also knew that I couldn’t sit back and do nothing.
“I, like many others, needed the industry that I love to hear me and understand that silence is not only complacency, but it is detrimental to the progressiveness of our industry.”
