NATIONAL SUMMARY

Thunderstorms in southeastern Ohio, southwestern

Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland

can be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail today.

Elsewhere in the region, small hail and a rumble of thunder

can occur with any shower in northeastern Ohio, west-central

and south-central Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky, southern

West Virginia, western Virginia and central and eastern

Maryland. Showers are expected in much of Michigan, New York

and Pennsylvania, even outside of any small hail or thunder.

A swath of thunderstorms will stretch from New Mexico to

West Texas. Thundershowers should primarily be limited to

the afternoon hours in Colorado and Utah. A less humid and

pleasant day is expected in much of the Southeast. The

Northwest will remain warm and dry.
