City of Troy bringing back Memorial Day Parade

TROY, N.Y (NEWS10) -- Happening Memorial Day weekend this year, the city of Troy is reviving its Memorial Day Parade. The parade will take place at 1 p.m. on Memorial Day, Monday May 27.

The route will go from Knickerbacker Park to Powers Park. There will be a cookout at Forty-One Sports Grille after the parade.

Officials said they wanted to bring back the parade in order to unite community and build pride in the city.
