The Express Tribune newspaper in Pakistan has reported that the explosion occurred last night in the Shia area of North Waziristan.

According to Pakistani media reports, the explosion was caused by a bomb and significant parts of this girls’ school have been destroyed.

Meanwhile, Pakistani media have reported that at the same time as this explosion occurred, the perpetrators severely beat the school guard in the Shia area of North Waziristan.

It is worth mentioning that this school is the only girls’ school in the area that was targeted by a bomb explosion last evening.
