Overturned truck causes LA 14 to be shut down, now reopened

VERMILION PARISH, La. (KLFY) - An 18-wheeler crashed early Friday morning causing LA 14 to be shut down for a few hours.

Authorities say the crash happened west of the Abbeville city limit. Officials say the propane tanker 18-wheeler, belong to Targa Resources, was pulling into the driveway of Cypress Propane when the rear tires missed the driveway causing the tanker to overturn.  It was also reported that there was a slight smell of propane, but not to a hazardous level. There were no leaks for evacuations.

LA 14 reopened shortly before 9am.
