Antwerp fan Huybrechts watched from the stands as his side lost yesterday’s derby game 1-0.

Reports in Belgium claim he was walking back to a bus of fellow Antwerp supporters when he was allegedly attacked by a group of Union fans.

It’s claimed Huybrechts was tackled before being punched and kicked while on the floor.

A photo showed the aftermath, with the stricken darts star lying on the floor receiving help.

He was rushed to hospital as a result of the attack.

And X-rays showed Huybrechts suffered a double collarbone fracture on his right shoulder.

The darts star is now set to undergo surgery to fix his issue.

But it means he faces a lengthy amount of time out of the game.

Huybrechts is considered to be one of the top slingers in darts.

He is currently ranked 33rd in the world.

But Huybrechts is yet to reach the World Championship quarters since 2012.

This year he crashed out in the second round to Richard Veenstra.

And he made it to the fourth round of the UK Open before losing to Keane Barry.
