‘Where are they?!’ demand EastEnders fans as TWELVE Walford stars ‘disappear’ from soap with no explanation
EASTENDERS fans have demanded to know what has happened to twelve characters after they disappeared with no explanation.
The BBC soap has been dealing with a number of storylines in recent weeks, including George Knight’s illegal boxing habit as he struggles with his grief and Yolande Trueman’s sexual assault at the hands of Pastor Clayton.
Another major storyline is Whitney Dean’s pregnancy and wedding, but while all three involve a number of other Walford residents, EastEnders fans have noticed that many others haven’t been seen in weeks.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote: “where the, excuse me, bl***y hell are half the eastenders cast!!!?? ian? sharon? stacey? kathy? jean? kat? alfie? martin? suki? eve? jack? harvey?
“WHERE ARE THEY!!!!??? not that i’m not enjoying the stories rn but it’s just odd they’re not even making APPEARANCES!?”
Another replied: “No Ravi for a long time either. They bring back an iconic character like Ian & he hasn’t even been utilised.
“Penny, Peter & Bobby have been barely given anything too.”
The original poster responded: “OMG how could i forget my ravi!!!! yes where the HELL is he!! and so right about the latter 4!”
A third tweeted: “Sharon’s absence feels esp odd, given that she was ostensibly a central part of this huge “the Six” storyline, but also has somehow missed the vast majority of it.
“The Knights and the Truemans feel like they’ve been exclusively holding the show up for the past couple months.”
Another viewer agreed, writing: “speaking of sharon. again, WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?! we’ve not got ONE scene of zack telling sharon he’s getting married. it’s so weird!”
Meanwhile a fellow viewer raged: “I miss Kat Slater. I want to see more of Penny. I can’t remember what Eve looks like.
“Where are the good characters hiding. This is what happens when specific characters dominate the show.”
They weren’t alone with their roll-call of missing characters, as another EastEnders fan tweeted: “Sorry but where the hell is Nish? Plotting his revenge?
“Like he’d ever not be struck in the middle of all this pointing the finger directly at the #Six instead he’s totally disappeared leaving Vin to deal with the aftermath of a body being found on his premises?”
