India's findings in research on Arctic, Antarctica and Himalayas may soon be part of NCERT textbooks

India's research on Arctic, Antarctic and the Himalayas may be included in NCERT textbooks. The NCERT has set up a committee to incorporate recent research developments on the regions, aiming to update content that has remained unchanged for a long time. The new research results could be in textbooks by 2026.
