Top 5 Moments of Episode 11:

1. Return to Camp: The loss of Tiffany Nicole Ervin stung many viewers as she became a fan favorite, but this group did not seem bothered, almost patting themselves on the back for eliminating an idol, which was sure to be brought back into play. The human hurricane that is Quintavius “Q” Burdette lived another day, which continues to shock people, but Kenzie Petty felt excluded as she truly did not see the elimination coming. You have to have thicker skin on this show sometimes, but Charlie Davis really was more concerned about keeping her in his corner. Maria Shrime Gonzalez wasted no time plotting another blindside though, which made me worried for Kenzie and Venus.

2. Camp Life: The prospect of an idol being hidden around the forest or at camp had the group searching in the wee hours of the morning. It was nice to see the urgency that this group seems to lack sometimes. In the end, Venus took a more slow and steady approach finding the idol first and opted to pretend to keep looking, not telling anyone she found it. Liz Wilcox enjoyed a good nap as this all went down, which made this all even funnier. The threat of Maria was now in the open, which made her the biggest target on the beach. Charlie also noticed her dependance on Q’s vote, which she needed for one more week. I doubt that anyone expected Charlie to be the strategic and physical threat this season, but I love seeing him become a low-key Boston Rob.

3. An Exciting Win: In a challenge that looked like fun, balance was the name of the game once more. Some contestants were more gifted than others at balancing the ball and walking, but overall, this was anyone’s game. In the end, Maria emerged victorious and ensured that a new name would be on the chopping block. A tearful Ben was chosen to join her on reward as was Q after a rock, paper, scissors face-off. This only intensified the target on Q’s back.

4. Survivor 101: While others enjoyed a pizza party, those not picked were less than thrilled. To quote Venus, “She went from being a hero to a villain real quick.” With Q as the biggest target that needed to be shown the door, Maria’s future looked even more bleak down the road. Honestly, Q just might be the most unlikable players to ever hit the beach, which meant targeting Venus to save himself. Charlie seemed gleeful that he had a chance to get Q out, essentially personifying almost every viewer so far since his incident. Charlie was also curious what Venus was promising him in a potential final four deal, but quickly spread the news to Ben, who wanted Venus gone. The fire was lit for what could only be an interesting Tribal Council.

5. The 5th Juror is Seated: Jeff wasted no time stirring the pot and had his snacks ready, sharing one measly stick of licorice with them. Maria made her situation even worse with her explanation over pizza-gate. More importantly, Venus and Charlie continued to be cool as a cucumber at Tribal Council, a trait I cannot help but root for in any contestant. Q also continued his trend of looking foolish, so points for consistency there as well. Venus opted not to play her idol and for the third week, someone went to the jury with an idol in their pocket.
