A P-51 Mustang “Comfortably Numb” makes a flyby after departing the 2016 Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show. The name is an homage to a previous owner of this P-51D, Pink Floyd guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour. Gilmour flew this Mustang in the UK for several years before selling to a US buyer.  This aircraft competed at the Reno Air Races in the late 1980’s with a sixth place finish.  More than 8100 of the D-model were produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs ...
