Lauren was discharged from hospital and managed to spend Christmas at home with her family.
In August she was told that she may never walk again in a devastating update.
Weeks before her family issued an update about her condition saying that she’d had a seizure.
Sharing the news on Twitter, they wrote: “Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control” asking for everyone to pray for her.
Days before Lauren had a spinal tear.
She wrote: “We were informed yesterday that Lauren has a life threatening spinal tear. She is having emergency surgery today, the first of two operations.
“This has meant she is in constant pain and unable to walk it could also lead to more bleeding on the brain.
“She has been through so much in her 3 1/2 months in hospital, this is her 3rd operation. She’s strong but needs your love. We are praying that they are successful and hope you do the same.”
She was previously left bed bound after having a failed operation on her spine.
Lauren‘s mum previously revealed she had suffered from blackouts and a drooping face following the emergency procedure.
After the surgery, she caught Covid as well as two infections, which caused her to suffer breathing problems.
Lauren is best known for appearances as a child on TV shows including Wogan and After Dark.
