Community Ticket Initiative Partnership with McGoldrick’s delivers

0

Queen’s Park’s partnership with Rutherglen based McGoldrick's, who are classed as the top venue for playing UK and American pool as well as darts and snooker, which provides free tickets for local community groups, youth organisations and sporting clubs was a roaring success during Season 2023/24.

Since being launched last September when the club returned to the National Stadium at Hampden to play their home games, sixteen local community groups have been able to bring people to their first ever Spiders game or their first game in a long time.

In total, McGoldrick’s generously provided over 800 Match Tickets to members of the southside of Glasgow community who may not have been at a game before or for some time.

Queen’s Park’s Head of Commercial Kieran Koszary said: “Our end of season review of our community initiatives has identified two tremendous successes so far. On Tuesday we announced that over 1,000 people took in a Queen’s Park game through our ‘Tickets for Schools’ programme and today I am delighted to confirm that in partnership with McGoldricks more than 800 people came along.

“Our thanks go to McGoldrick’s for being such an enthusiastic backer of our Community Programme and to everyone who came along and supported Queen’s Park.”
