NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Important changes are on the way for New Jersey Transit customers.
Starting July 1, all one way tickets will have a 30-day expiration date. This is for both digital and paper tickets. The popular flex-pass ticket will be discontinued on July 1.
Meanwhile the consulting agency hired by New Jersey Transit says it is examining all aspects of the agency's operations.
The goal is to come up with $600 million in cuts while preserving the service hundreds of thousands of people rely on each day.
