1. House fire in Whitehall kills young girl
A fire at a multi-unit property on Maple Street in Whitehall claimed the life of a young girl early Wednesday morning. The child was identified as 10-year-old Airyonna Jabot.
2. Schenectady PD arrest two following incident on Crane Street
Schenectady Police announced that two people have been arrested in connection to an incident near Crane Street on Tuesday. Wendell Boone, 39, and Catoria Pittman, 35, are both facing multiple charges.

Foot traffic through the College of Saint Rose was slow on Wednesday, the school’s final day of class. Students who were on campus said it’s been hard coming to terms with the reality that the school is closing for good.
