While you might be used to paying a few pounds on Vinted, one of the TV personality’s items are definitely a bit more of a splurge.

On her Instagram stories, the mum-of- three revealed that she partnered with the app and already  sold multiple items in less than 24 hours.

“Hi everyone, I just wanted to remind you that I’ve set up an account with Vinted and wanted to say thank you so much to everyone that has bought something so far,” Billie told fans.

The voiceover continued: “I can’t believe how quickly everything sold. It’s so lovely to give my clothes a second home.”

Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?

QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted...

  • The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
  • Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.

Sharing a video of her virtual wardrobe, there were tons of items on offer with prices ranging between £5 and £75.

It’s not hard to see why the former reality star has gained over 7,100 followers on Vinted with designer goodies.

This included a gorgeous bead dress from Karen Millen for £40, as well as clothes fur trimmed ankle boots from Zara for £15 and kids clothes.

There was also a goodies like EGO boots for just £20 – despite them usually retailing for between £50 – £80.

Despite this, there was one item that caught fans’ attention – a pink Bon Ton jacket which had been priced at £75.

With its pink boucle style fabric and cosy star lining, the coat would be an adorable edition to any little girls’ wardrobe.

Sadly, your little one won’t get much wear out of it as the coat was designed for a six to nine month old.

Unsurprisingly, the coat is one of the few items that has been left unsold.

With the reality star worth a reported £3 million, according to Daily Feed, Billie’s listing has raised a few eyebrows.

It’s thought that the former TOWIE cast member has made the majority of her fortune through her appearance on the reality series.

She has starred in spin-off series such as The Mummy Diaries and The Family Diaries, which have helped to further boost her bank account.

The celeb is also thought to earn a further £7,000 from sponsored Instagram posts, by partnering with brands like In the Style, Rightmove and Disneyland Paris.

She is also selling a kid’s coat for a whopping £75[/caption]

However, there is a good reason behind the pricing as the mum-of-three will be giving the proceeds from each sale to charity.

As she raises money for a good cause, the mum-of-three has sold an incredible £165 worth of items in less than 24 hours.

Maybe this is the inspo we needed to have a clear out?

How much can Billie Faiers make from an Instagram post?

BILLIE can reportedly charge up to £7,166 for a sponsored post on her grid and has collaborated over the years with brands like In The Style, Rightmove and Disneyland Paris.

Billie regularly shares snaps of her lavish family life, with luxury holidays and pets galore.

She also promotes her own brands on the page, usually featuring a picture of one of her three children – Nelly, Arthur, and Margot.

Despite earning plenty from sponsored posts, in May 2022 Billie was named by the Advertising Standards Agency as one of several “non-compliant social media influencers” – meaning she wasn’t properly disclosing when a post was a paid advertisement.

She also stars in her own ITVBe series – The Family Diaries – after her shared programme with Sam came to an end.
