CMAC Group set to continue post-acquisition booking surge
ACCRINGTON, UK – Record growth in 2024 is expected for leading provider of transportation and accommodation solutions, CMAC Group, with significant increases already seen in bookings, fleet size and the company’s international customer base since its acquisition by ComfortDelGro in January 2024.
Experiencing an acceleration in demand, CMAC Group reports 325,436 U.K. bookings in the first quarter of 2024, up 8% compared to the same period in 2023. Internationally, taxi bookings have seen a 150% increase, hotel reservations an 81% rise and coach trips are up 35%.
For vehicle bookings, the Group noted over 330,000 requests in the first quarter, accommodating more than 500,000 passengers and covering 5,310,988 miles.
Notably, more than 80% of all bookings were made via CMAC’s digital platform, equating to an increase of 15% on bookings made in the same period in 2023. Embracing this behavioural shift towards efficient online booking methods, CMAC Group continues to invest in digital solutions – alongside its 24/7/365 on hand team of experts – to enhance customer experiences and streamline operations with its bespoke-built technology.
Looking ahead to a summer filled with international events such as the Olympics and UEFA Euro tournament – as well as CMAC Group’s ongoing support for airlines, rail, onward travel, corporate travel, hospitals, universities and emergency services in the UK and worldwide – the business anticipates continued success in the coming months.
Peter Slater, CEO of CMAC Group, says: “2024 marks a significant year for CMAC as we embrace the opportunities within our extended global family.
