Mongolia's inflation drops to 6.4 pct in April

ULAN BATOR, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, dropped to 6.4 percent in April, data from the country's National Statistics Office showed Thursday.

The inflation rate was down by 4.9 percentage points compared to the same period last year, the statistical agency said.

The slowdown was mainly related to a significant increase in forex reserves and the stable ex
