Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Lockport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Lockport and was flown via Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday
On May 8 just before 2 p.m., the vehicle was pulling into a business on the 6300 block of Robinson Road when the driver allegedly struck the pedestrian in the parking lot.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was uninjured and is cooperating with the investigation.
The names of the parties involved are being withheld while the investigation continues.
