Tomales house fire injures resident
A resident was injured in an early morning house fire in Tomales.
Firefighters were alerted to the fire around 4:20 a.m. Sunday at 5700 Middle Road. They found the home fully engulfed in flames, said Mari Ochoa, a Marin County Fire Department spokesperson. The fire was extinguished at approximately 4:50 a.m., she said.
The victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition, Ochoa said.
The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
