FORECAST DISCUSSION:

This Monday afternoon more rain chances will pick up across Central Ohio. Some areas will see a rumble of thunder or two. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Overnight there will be a few spotty showers, otherwise skies will remain cloudy. Lows will be close to 60 degrees.

Tuesday will bring more thunderstorms with better chances for stronger activity. Central Ohio will be under a slight risk (2/5) for severe weather. Timing wise, the storms are expected to arrive towards the late afternoon, and last through the evening. Strong winds and large hail will be the primary threats, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Temperatures Tuesday will reach the low 80s. Overnight after the storms clear, conditions will stay breezy as lows fall to the low 60s.

Wednesday will be mostly quiet outside of a few showers, but the severe weather risk will pick up again Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Central Ohio will be under another slight risk (2/5) for severe weather. The primary threat will be for strong winds, but large hail and an isolated tornado is still small possibility.
