Church Street in Amsterdam to close Monday, Tuesday

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The city of Amsterdam announced the closure of Church Street from Gorski Street to Julia Street. The closure will take place from 9 p.m. on Monday to 7 a.m. on Tuesday and then from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday due to a sewer break.

The city asks drivers to take alternate routes because no traffic will be allowed through. A detour will be set up along Chopin Parkway and Conrad Place. Anyone with questions should reach out to the city's engineering department at (518) 841-4331.
