Duke Recruiting: Hudson Greer Is On The Radar
This is an intriguing target for Jon Scheyer and Duke
Here’s a new name to keep an eye on as recruiting moves on: Hudson Greer, from Austin, Texas.
Greer is a 6-7 forward who sees himself as a slasher who can step out and hit threes. Intriguingly for Duke, Greer was a big fan of the Blue Devils and Mike Krzyzewski. Obviously Coach K has retired but Jon Scheyer has made a solid impression in his first two seasons so we’ll see what Greer thinks.
He fits the Duke profile in one way: he comes from an athletic family as his father, Josh, played for Randy Bennett as St. Mary’s.
Greer says he’s been contacted by Arizona, Creighton, Alabama, Kansas State, Texas as you might expect since it’s around the corner, and most recently, Duke.
Video highlights tend to focus on dunks and threes which is kind of too bad since there is so much more to this game. Here is one clip that tends to do that and but watch for the passing and also check this one out because there is some stuff here that definitely catches the eye. He’s a promising young talent.
