Kaley Cuoco’s Baby Tildy Has a Creative Way of Crawling: ‘Little Genius’
Crawling is an art form, and just like babies themselves, no two methods of crawling are exactly the same. One of my kids did an Army crawl, basically pulling themselves by their arms. Another preferred scooting around on their bottom instead. And Kaley Cuoco’s daughter Matilda “Tildy” Carmine, 13 months, has a unique crawling method, too — and she looks so cute while doing it.
The Big Bang Theory star shared a video on her Instagram story Sunday of Tildy, who she shares with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey. “Her version of crawling,” Cuoco wrote over the video. “I love it lol little genius.”
In the clip, fittingly set to “A Little Mischief” by Mark Ross, Tildy crawls on a play mat toward a ball hiding under a couch. Both of her hands are on the floor in the standard crawling position, but her feet are a different story. Instead of moving on her knees, Tildy’s left foot is sitting flat on the ground like she is about to stand up. Her other leg is tucked under her as she rests on her knee. She moves with her hands and the one leg propped up, planting her foot on the ground and dragging the other leg to catch up. Rinse and repeat.
It’s effective! She gets across the room in a blink, where she grabs the ball and turns and tosses it effortlessly to her mom. Tildy is just so cute!
The Based on a True Story star also posted a picture of Tildy on Sunday, this time, an adorable black-and-white shot of Cuoco laughing at her reflection in the mirror. “Perfect,” a sticker placed over the photo read. Then this morning, Cuoco shared another photo of her baby girl, this time smiling at her mama with cute dimples in her cheeks. “Good morning angel face!!!” Cuoco wrote over the heartwarming photo.
In an interview on The Jess Cagle Show With Julia Cunningham, Pelphrey opened up about how his and Cuoco’s lives have changed after becoming parents. “You realize there’s no way to understand what it’ll feel like until you get to feel it. It’s wild,” he shared, per Entertainment Tonight. “It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever got to experience. I know Kaley feels the same way.”
“It’s also hilarious,” the Ozark star continued. “It can be exhausting at times. It’s all the good things.”
