Trump trial kicks off week 3 in hush money case with new testimony: Live updates

Witness testimony in former President Trump’s hush money trial is set to kick off for a third week on Monday.

So far, the jury has heard testimony from key players involved in the probe, including ex-National Enquirer publisher David Pecker, attorney Keith Davidson and Hope Hicks, once a close political confidant of the former president.

Still expected to the witness stand is a woman at the center of the case, porn star Stormy Daniels, who took a $130,000 payment to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump before he entered politics, which he denies.
