BJP, Congress again set for battle in 14 LS seats in Karnataka
The second phase of elections in Karnataka's 14 remaining Lok Sabha seats is set to see a showdown between the ruling Congress and the BJP, with the JD(S) supporting the BJP. This phase covers northern districts, and the JD(S) is not contesting. In the 2019 polls, the BJP swept these seats. Over 2.59 crore voters are eligible, and security arrangements are in place. Prominent candidates include former CMs and Union Ministers. The Congress hopes to put up a strong fight, while the BJP aims to maintain its dominance, making this a crucial election for both parties.
