Whilst many of us will buy room sprays, candles and diffusers to make our homes smell nice, one woman has shared the CAR trick that she swears by.

Savvy shopper Sandra Nicholson took to social media to share her hack, which costs her just 69p – yes, you heard that correctly.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with 2.4 million members, Sandra revealed that she uses car vent air fresheners to make her home smell “lovely”.

She shared a picture of the Wickford & Co car fresheners, in the scent Crisp Cotton & Peony.

The Home Bargains fan beamed: “These are in Home Bargains for 69p.”

She then added: “Meant to put an air vent in your car.”

But instead of doing this, Sandra explained: “I use on my radiators, lovely smell.”

The Wickford & Co air fresheners are available in a range of different scents and whilst these buys are intended to make your car smell amazing, thanks to Sandra’s hack, her home smells equally as fresh too.

According to Sandra, she simply clips them onto her radiator, filling her home with a fresh, floral scent.

According to Wickford & Co, the scent of these air fresheners lasts for 30 days, making this trick incredibly affordable and effective.

Sandra’s post has clearly impressed many, as at the time of writing, it had quickly amassed over 450 likes and 92 comments.

Social media users were stunned by the hack and many were eager to try it themselves, which many took to the comments to express.
