NATIONAL SUMMARY

Much of the Southeast and the southern Plains will

experience warm and humid conditions tomorrow, while showers

and thunderstorms can occur across much of these regions. A

zone of heavy rain and thunderstorms can develop in eastern

Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, bringing the risk of gusty

winds and flash flooding. Farther north, steady rain will

fall in the Northeast. On the other side of the nation,

another storm will begin moving into the West, bringing rain

and high-elevation snow to the Northwest as well as the

Rockies. This storm will also bring high winds across the

Rockies and the Southwest, and there can be an elevated risk

of wildfires across portions of Arizona. Much of the

northern Plains will become dry and warmer as high pressure

develops overhead.
