Delhi LG Saxena orders removal of 223 staff from Delhi Women Commission as they were appointed 'without permission'

Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered the removal of 223 employees from the Delhi Women Commission immediately, alleging their appointment by former chairperson Swati Maliwal without approval. The Department of Women & Child Development directed the commission to dismiss contractual staff for exceeding delegated powers and bypassing procedures.
