Fatal Dallas-area crash involving tractor-trailer and other vehicles briefly shuts interstate

Officials say a fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles shut down traffic for a time on a stretch of Interstate 20 in the Dallas area. Authorities say the tractor-trailer fell off a highway ramp and crashed into a truck on the ground, killing its driver early Sunday before catching fire. Officials say other emergency crews responded to Sunday's pre-dawn accident. No other fatalities have been confirmed.
