To the editor: So that Bitcoin does not become TikTok 2.0

The TikTok situation is complex, with numerous articles written and extensive discussions taking place across various levels. One key aspect that is often overlooked is that America was not the original technology pioneer in this case. We have two options: if we ban the platform, we face financial and nonfinancial repercussions. If we do nothing, we risk giving away unscrutinized access to sensitive data the app routinely collects on American users.
