Around 23 midcap mutual funds (MFs) outperformed their benchmarks in the past year, reflecting a 79% outperformance rate. Only six schemes lagged behind their benchmarks. For example, Aditya Birla SL Midcap Fund posted an 18.14% return, beating its benchmark, Nifty Midcap 150 - TRI, which gained 17.16%. Axis Midcap Fund and Bandhan Midcap Fund also outperformed their respective benchmarks.

Maharashtra: One killed in blast at ordnance factory in Bhandara; rescue efforts underway
