Government-run Kidwai Institute of Oncology completes 1,000 robotic surgeries using Da Vinci system

Kidwai is the first government hospital to implement robotic technology, having integrated the advanced Da Vinci robotic surgical system. According to Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, the minister of Medical Education & Skill Development, Kidwai is the only government institution offering robotic surgery services. It is also the only super-specialty hospital to offer extensive inpatient care.
