In the first of two parts, AFP Sport highlights the most notable of them: AMERICAN FOOTBALL OJ Simpson died aged 76 of prostate cancer on April 10. His stellar career as a running back for the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills were a mere footnote to the court case and eventual acquittal for the double murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
