Cons pose as vendors from UK, cheat Noida company of Rs 1.5 crore

A Noida tech company, BARTEC India, lost over Rs 1.5 crore to hackers who impersonated a UK vendor. The scammers gained access to the vendor's email and directed BARTEC to transfer funds to a fraudulent account. BARTEC, believing the communication to be legitimate, made the transfer and only discovered the fraud later when contacted by the real vendor.
