Back in 2022, the Mamma Mia! star admitted she “bent over backwards” to audition for the part of Glinda in the movie musical, which ended up going to Ariana Grande.

Since then, a clip of Amanda singing Glinda’s signature song has resurfaced, though she insisted this was not part of her audition process.

Mayotte: The search for survivors continues in the wake of cyclone Chido

The worst storm to hit the Indian Ocean archipelago in almost a century. Mayotte's prefect has said that deaths from the cyclone will be in the hundreds, and potentially several thousand. The archipelago is France's poorest overseas territory; it's home to some 321,000 people, many who live in fragile, makeshift housing. But many of these structures have now been levelled to the ground by winds exceeding 200kmph.
