The central government has disbursed ₹71,889 crore to states for fiscal year 2024-25, based on the 15th Finance Commission's recommendations. The funds are allocated for various purposes, including disaster relief, local body grants, health, and fire service modernization. Significant allocations include ₹18,362.25 crore for revenue deficit grants and ₹15,823.20 crore for the State Disaster Response Fund.

GNG Electronics files draft papers with Sebi; aims to raise Rs 825 cr via fresh issue

GNG Electronics Ltd has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise funds through an initial public offering (IPO). The proposed IPO is a combination of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 825 core and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 97 lakh equity shares by promoters, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed on Saturday.
