LPG demand to decline 7% by 2030 on growing piped natural gas adoption

India's LPG demand is projected to fall. Piped natural gas (PNG) will replace LPG use. Household LPG consumption makes up 90% of total demand. PNG is cheaper than LPG. Domestic PNG connections will increase tenfold by 2032. City gas companies are expanding PNG infrastructure. This shift will reduce LPG imports and utilize domestic natural gas.
