IL&FS seeks legal advice to recover excess remuneration paid to directors

IL&FS Group is seeking legal advice on how to recover approximately Rs 187 crore in excess remuneration from former directors of IL&FS, IFIN, and ITNL. The company is seeking to recoup funds after a government audit found the companies had been showing profits when they were actually in loss.
