New textbook illuminates gene regulation and epigenomics

Professor Carsten Carlberg has published a comprehensive new textbook, "Gene Regulation and Epigenetics: How Science Works," which presents the current understanding of gene regulation and epigenomics. Published by Springer and designed for graduate students, this textbook builds on Professor Carlberg's lectures at the University of Eastern Finland.

I agree it does all look a bit of a mess. I don’t hate the old badge T-shirt, in fact I think it could be a good idea if done properly (this is rugby league so I won’t hold my breath). Now, I know David Hughes was a divisive figure and as a result of his actions, fans were lost and shed with every move. Researchers develop high-quality nanomechanical resonators with built-in piezoelectricity

Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and at the University of Magdeburg in Germany have developed a novel type of nanomechanical resonator that combines two important features: high mechanical quality and piezoelectricity. This development could open doors to new possibilities in quantum sensing technologies.
