The Copenhagen Post online

Mid and West Jutland Police are set to test body cameras among nine motorcycle officers in their daily operations. This initiative aims to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using body cameras, particularly their impact on interactions between police and citizens. By documenting encounters, the police hope to enhance transparency and accountability in their work. […]

Do You Trust Hugh Grant at Night?

Splice Today

The horror genre is dominant at the box office in 2024, as films that’re viscerally frightening are a more consistent draw to audiences compared to the irrelevant series of new superhero titles. Between classical legacy sequels like Alien: Romulus, emerging franchises like Smile 2, cult hits like Terrifier 3, and the occasional arthouse breakout like Longlegs, it's clear why horror is never going to fail to find an audience. These films have all succeeded due to their somewhat straightforward... Читать дальше...

My Excruciating Vote

Splice Today

It was hard for me, voting for Kamala Harris. It was emotional. But I did it anyway, voting "in-person mail-in" a week ago today at the emergency services center outside Gettysburg. The day before, I’d changed my mind (again) and was definitely going to vote for Chase Oliver, the Libertarian candidate. Earlier in the cycle, I’d considered Cornel West and Jill Stein. I take myself to be neither on the left nor the right, because I take each side to be a random formation of internally incompatible clichés. Читать дальше...

General Dominique Trinquand commanded a battalion in Lebanon in the early 90’s and in the former Yugoslavia... Читать дальше...

Cyprus Mail

Nurses’ union Pasyno on Monday spoke of “miserable conditions” in which nurses are expected to work, in the aftermath of floods which hit the Paphos general hospital on Saturday evening.“We live every day in miserable working conditions, in understaffed hospitals, with serious shortages, and now we are also having to live with inadequate buildings,” they […]

Jay and May (21 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Still struggling to see it working brilliantly with them both on the pitch tbh. Hope it changes.

May looks busy but pretty much not a goal threat. 1 league goal in his last 8. Together they lack much of a physical presence.

I can't help but think that May isn't the answer if he's not the main man. We've got a lot of midfield and wide options already.

I'd probably drop May and try to test Yokoyama and Anderson and first choice wide forwards with Stansfield up top and Thor behind.
