Ox saves owner from crocodile attack in Karnataka's Bagalkot village

Dhariyappa Meti, a farmer in Honnihal village, Bagalkot district, survived a crocodile attack with help from his ox. The incident occurred while he was washing his oxen in the Almatti reservoir. Despite losing his right hand, Meti was saved when his ox intervened, pulling him to safety. The family now treats the ox like a god.

South Korea has detected signs North Korea is preparing to destroy parts of inter-Korean roads no longer in use, as tensions soar between them over North Korea’s claim that South Korea flew drones over its territory. Destroying the roads would be in line with leader Kim Jong Un’s push to cut off ties with South Korea and formally cement it as his country’s principal enemy.
