ONGC looks at mini-LNG plants to evacuate gas from isolated fields

State-owned ONGC is establishing mini-LNG plants in Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gujarat to convert stranded natural gas into LNG for transportation. These mini-plants will help increase domestic gas supplies by utilizing gas from wells not connected to pipelines, thus reducing reliance on imports.
