Our non-promotion violated CI 76, Police Service Regulations - Police officers to Court

Graduate Chief Inspectors who were excluded from a special promotion amnesty in 2021 have alleged that proper procedures were overlooked during the process. They informed a Human Rights Court in Accra that the amnesty, which promoted certain junior rank personnel, violated the Constitutional Instruments (CI) 76 and the Police Service Regulations of 2012, leading to their non-promotion.

Driver, mate hospitalised after accident at Bunso

A driver and his mate have been rushed to the Tafo Government Hospital in the Abuakwa North Municipality after they were involved in an accident at Bunso in the early hours on Friday, October 11. The driver who was in charge of a DAF XF long vehicle with registration number GW-5959-23 loaded with drinks and food items from Togo and heading to Kumasi is said to have been dosing off when he got to Bunso just after bypassing the CSIR curve close to Bunso Junction.
